WATI vs AiSensy: Real Cost in India (2026)

A straight comparison of what WATI and AiSensy charge Indian businesses — platform fee, agent seats, chatbot, billing cycle and Meta's own per-message rate. Every number comes from their own pricing page, and both are linked.

We make ZupiChat, a third WhatsApp CRM, so we have put our own numbers in the same table rather than leaving them out.

WATI vs AiSensy, side by side

The same 5-person team sending 5,000 marketing messages a month, on whichever plan each tool needs to seat five people.

Tool & plan Agent seats Chatbot Platform fee Messages (Meta) Monthly total
WATI Pro 5 users included 2,000 automation triggers in plan ₹5,799 ₹5,450 ₹11,249
AiSensy Basic 1 owner + 5 agents Paid add-on, ₹2,500/mo ₹1,500
+ ₹2,500 chatbot
₹5,450 ₹9,450
ZupiChatOur product Enterprise Unlimited team members Included in plan ₹2,499 ₹5,450 ₹7,949

Message charges are Meta's and identical on every official platform, so they cannot be a reason to pick one over the other. The platform fee, the seats it includes and whether the chatbot is an add-on are what actually move your bill.

What each one publishes

  • Growth includes 3 users and does not allow additional users at all

AiSensy

A large Indian WhatsApp API platform with a genuine free tier. Its plans are the cheapest on this page at the entry level, but the chatbot builder and the AI agent are billed separately on every plan.

  • Basic includes 1 owner + 5 agents; extra seats ₹750 each per month

Which one should you pick?

On price

For five people and 5,000 messages, AiSensy comes out lower: ₹9,450 a month against ₹11,249. Read the billing cycle before you treat either as a monthly outgoing — WATI Pro is quoted monthly, billed quarterly, and AiSensy Basic is billed monthly.

On seats

Seats are where these bills diverge most. WATI: 5 users included, then ₹1,299 per extra person per month. AiSensy: 1 owner + 5 agents, then ₹750 per extra person per month. If your team is going to grow this year, price the team you will have, not the one you have today.

On the chatbot

WATI: 2,000 automation triggers in plan. AiSensy: Paid add-on, ₹2,500/mo. An add-on priced per month is worth checking carefully, because it can cost more than the plan it sits on.

The third option, stated plainly

We build ZupiChat, so take this as a vendor's pitch and verify it. For the same five-person team it comes to ₹7,949 a month, because chatbot flows and AI assistance are inside the ₹2,499 plan rather than billed on top, team members are unlimited on that plan, and we bill Meta's message rate with no markup. There is a free tier to test it on before any of that matters.

Common questions

Is WATI cheaper than AiSensy in India?

AiSensy works out cheaper for a 5-person team: ₹9,450 a month all in, against ₹11,249 for the other, on the plans each one needs to seat five people. Both numbers include Meta's ₹5,450 message charge, which is the same whichever you pick.

Do WATI and AiSensy charge the same for WhatsApp messages?

The message charge itself is Meta's, not the platform's, so it is identical: ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility, authentication or service message for Indian users from 1 October 2026, with the first 1,000 service messages free per number each month. What differs between platforms is whether they add a markup on top, so ask each one that question in writing.

What is the difference between WATI and AiSensy?

AiSensy: A large Indian WhatsApp API platform with a genuine free tier. Are these prices current?

How this page was put together. ZupiChat is our own product, so this is a comparison written by a competitor of both tools above. Everything we say about WATI and AiSensy was read off their own public pricing pages on 6 October 2026, and both pages are linked. Where a vendor does not publish a price we say so rather than estimating one. Meta's per-message rates are the published India rates effective 1 October 2026. Spotted something out of date?
